Score

Shallow surface line

A score is a vector line run at low power — enough to mark a crisp dark line without cutting through. Think fold lines, decorative outlines, and part labels.

Scoring is dramatically faster than raster-engraving the same line art, which is why production shops convert thin artwork to scores wherever possible.
