Galvo
Mirror-steered fiber head
A galvo head steers the beam with two tiny mirrors instead of moving the whole head on rails — which is how fiber markers hit thousands of mm/s over a small field.
The trade: blistering speed inside a fixed field (commonly 100–200mm square) versus a gantry’s big-but-slow bed.
