The material rule comes first: verified veg-tan leather only. Most faux and "vegan" leather is PVC-backed, and chlorinated material releases chlorine gas in the machine — our settings tool refuses it, and so should your bench.

On real veg-tan, a modest diode is a pattern-cutting machine: clean edges on 2–4mm, crisp logo marks at low power, and stitching holes placed by file instead of pricking iron. Damp-wipe soot, then finish as usual.
