The verdict

Same silhouette, different leagues. The original F1’s 2W IR side is a marker — beautiful for tags and personalization at markets. The Ultra’s 20W fiber is an engraver: depth, speed, and batch workflow that turn metal goods into a production line.

The upgrade question answers itself by product: if metal is occasional personalization, the F1 is the efficient buy. If stainless and brass goods headline the shop, the Ultra’s fiber source is the difference between marking and manufacturing.
